Comrade Meshack Olaoluwa of the State Information Chapel, has emerged the new Ondo State Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
Olaoluwa was elected unopposed during the Bye-election of the Union held on Thursday June 30, 2022 at the Press Centre, Akure.
Nobody was occupying the position of the NUJ State Secretary since new leadership under the State Chairman, Comrade Leke Adegbite took over on 8th April, 2022.
Meshack who is the immediate past Chairman of State Information Chapel, started his journalism career at Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC) almost three decades ago.
Swearing-in the new Secretary, the State NUJ Chairman, Leke Adegbite charged him to be a team player both with other Exco members and entire journalists in the state.
Responding, Meshack Olaoluwa promised to be loyal, and justify the confidence reposed in him by NUJ members in the state.
