🏆[Day 3]: Social Events Made Simple

Hey, e

We are on DAY 3 of the Empowerment Made Simple Challenge and today we're helping you navigate social events with food allergies.

After today we are over halfway through!!

If you've missed the first few days, you're NOT behind.  You'll have time to catch up since the videos will be available until Thursday, May 27.  Just start with today's EASY homework and keep going, there are so many more goodies left in this challenge. 🎁

Here's what you need to do:

1.Watch the video for today, and answer these quick questions:

  • What are the 2 reasons social events are important for food allergy families and especially food allergy kids?

  • Now choose the one that is the most important for you and your family, and put a star on it (or maybe you have your own reason, that works too).

This is going to be your "WHY" when it feels awkward or demanding to "say yes and educate".  Remind yourself of this reason when you're tempted just to skip the event.  It will give you a reason to educate others even when it's not easy!

  • 🎉BONUS TIP - When it comes to verbally advocating for your child, what do I say in the video is THE BEST WAY to feel less awkward & more confident (without coming off as demanding)?

2. Go to the Moms Of Young Kids With Severe Food Allergies Facebook group and share what the most helpful thing that you learned today was (as always, sharing will help improve your chances of winning a $100 Amazon Gift Card or the Weeknight Allergy Buster Recipe Ebook (worth $24).  EVEN COMMENTING once per day gives you amazing chances of winning!

*NOTE: Please don't post outside links in the group since they will be removed.

➡️Tomorrow we're going to talk about fun and easy methods to empower your food allergy little before school starts.  This information is LIFE-CHANGING so don't miss it!

That's it for now, we'll see you tomorrow!

Sincerely,
Corinna

P.S. If you don't have Facebook, but still want to watch the videos, here's a link to the recap page where I'll add the daily videos as they become available.
