🥕Kinpira Gobo (Video) + 🥣Sweet Pickled Japanese Ginger + 🍝Tuna Mushroom Pasta +🍖BBQ Season!

Konnichiwa we--

I want to share a little update. About 3 months ago, I talked about my struggle with exercising here. I was never an athlete or did any sports in my youth and didn't really understand the 'joy' of working out.

Today I'm happy to share that I've been cycling for 30 minutes every day for the past 9 weeks. I know, it's miracle! 😆 I've built some endurance that I can cycle for 45 minutes (occasionally)! I even enjoy stretching which I never took it seriously before.

Once in a while, I get lazy about getting on the routine, but when I turn on the bike and see all these people (and JOC fans!) joining the class, I get inspired and encouraged. If you use Peloton (or its app), find me (nhc76) so we can exercise together and give each other a high 5!

The first question most people asked me is if I've lost any weight. Well, sorry to disappoint, I haven't. I still enjoy all the food I want to eat without feeling any guilt, but I should also work more on portion control (too hard!).

Many of you told me that you have a similar struggle, so hopefully my experience can inspire you to exercise! I know I've reaped many benefits from the consistent workout. 💪🏻

Now let's take a look at what we have shared on JOC this week!

JOC Community News 💬

Mr JOC and I would like the help of our network and JOC community in hopes of helping our close friend, Charlie, to find a matching donor.

Charlie is Mr JOC's good friend from high school and he is a prosecutor who spent years fighting for victims, justice, and public safety. He's a father to 3 young girls (5, 11, and 13) and a loving husband to his wife. You may have seen their cute dog Lulu played with Miso in my IG/FB stories.

He is now fighting a very aggressive form of leukemia for the second time and needs a bone marrow donor to beat leukemia before the end of June.

Please share this widely and consider getting tested and registered (easy, free, done at your home!), ESPECIALLY if you are of Asian descent.

If you're in the US, you can start by texting angelforcharlie to 61474 (We used this method).

Thank you so much for your support and we really appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts! 🙏🏼

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🌈✨
