One thing I miss dearly about France is having vin chaud (mulled wine) at Christmas markets during the winter season. Then I found out that it wasn't too hard to make it at home, so I tried it! Just simmer red wine, apples, oranges, lemon slices, cinnamon, cloves, and sugar at the correct proportions and voilà! I might have make it too citrusy the first time but I gotta admit that the taste was around 80% similar to the original, which I'd consider a success
