Team NSWIS will have a major impact on the Aussie Stingers team in Tokyo with eight women's water polo athletes announced onto the Australian Olympic Team, and our own Rebecca Rippon filling the role of Assistant Coach! The selections come off the back of road cyclist Amanda Spratt booking her ticket to Tokyo last week. Congratulations to Amanda and to the NSWIS Women's Water Polo Program.

EIGHT NSWIS STINGERS NAMED IN WOMEN'S WATER POLO TEAM
NSWIS representatives make up 60% of the Aussie Stingers team, with the Institute's Head Coach, Rebecca Rippon, filling the role of Assistant Coach in Tokyo.
Among the nine cyclists selected to the Australian Olympic Team last week is dual world championship medallist and NSWIS athlete Amanda Spratt, who returns for her third Games.
Last week's Canoe Sprint Championships was the first major national event to be held for the sport since COVID-19 and the final major competition before the Tokyo Games.
