recipe drop! Vanilla Buttermilk Cake with Rhubarb Buttercream

 

Celebrate Spring this weekend with a vanilla infused Buttermilk Cake and Rhubarb Buttercream Frosting! Rhubarb season is treasured here in Minnesota (our reward for making it through long winters) and I love to use it as much as possible in my baking. This cake is soft and fluffy, and the tart rhubarb balances the sweetness of buttercream even better than I imagined.
