Proudly Sponsored by: Tabla Cuisine Inside Look: Smoke & Donuts Catering and Food Truck Established in 2016, Smoke & Donuts specializes in oak-smoked bbq and handcrafted donuts, as well as scratch-made sides that pair beautifully with their carefully prepared meats. Those who frequent A la Cart Food Truck park are probably already aware of them, as Smoke and Donuts has taken up residency here, but patrons should know they have a second location in College Park specifically for catering pick up items. Tastychomps was lucky enough to get an inside peak on their catering menu, and we were not disappointed. We conveniently ordered online and picked up our order from their catering kitchen in College Park, which we brought back to A La Cart to enjoy with a fresh brew and the local ambiance. New Japanese influenced Rooftop Bar and Restaurant opens May 27th at JW Marriott Bonnet Creek near Disney Springs Orlando's hottest new rooftop restaurant, illume, is opening at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa, on Thursday May 27th. We got an exclusive sneak peek at illume – this place is full breathtaking views, an Asian-inspired menu , and handcrafted Japanese sake and aged whiskey cocktails. Perfect for viewing the nightly nearby Disney fireworks. Visit Orlando Celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month 2021 While Orlando attracts visitors from around the world, the local community is a vibrant mix of global citizens, including Asian Pacific American communities. In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Visit Orlando has gathered information on Asian-owned restaurants and special events for visitors and locals to enjoy this month and throughout the year, which will be continually updated on VisitOrlando.com/AAPI. This year, the 2nd annual St. Augustine Craft Brewers Fest took place on May 8, 2021. This day-long festival celebrates local breweries by offering guests unlimited samples from the 20+ vendors. Local food trucks, musicians and family-friendly activities were also available during the event.
