Is phone photography taking over? Maybe it's just the Instagram .. Yes, I need to confess. I was the arrogant one who didn't find any reason to capture the moment with my phone because I felt it's pointless. Still, the best camera is the one you have. Now I have tried to shift my mindset. Why? With a smartphone camera I can't rely on my editing or technical skills. To get a great shot I just have to go back to basics! Yes, it challenges me to take a more careful look to my light, angles & composition. Smartphone photography just helps me to play around with these basics. I can still learn the light, angles & composition when I don't have my camera in hand. Since my little sister & friends are almost always playing around with smartphone photography & always asks me questions about that, then it got me thinking. What if I just challenge myself with a smartphone as well. Just for fun & see how good images I can take? Since then I have played around with smartphone photography when I don't have my camera. After years of practicing, I would like to share the cheat sheets that I have found since experimenting with this kind of photography. Download my PHONE Food Photography Cheat Sheets HERE!
