Estrogen dominance, "Upcycled" foods, Why homemade Kombucha

View this email in your browser
Happy Tuesday!

The first article in this week's newsletter attempts to provide clarity on the health affects of whole foods and herbs that contain natural plant estrogens. If you are unsure due to conflicting info at the doctor's office, there is a straightforward way to clearly identify the effect of these foods on your body individually!

Have you ever heard of upcycling? Perhaps you've noticed that the food industry has begun to co-opt the term from DIY and gardening forums. Painted as green and sustainable, are upcycled foods as nutritious as advertised?  I take a closer look...

The first fermented beverage I ever made back in 2001 was kombucha. I share the easiest (and tastiest) method I know in this homemade kombucha recipe (including a throwback video from 2010 my husband has kindly updated!).

It will save you a bundle if you enjoy bottled versions from the store (and I promise it tastes better and is healthier for you too!).

Warmest Wishes!
