It's August, but I don't know how this happened. It was barely July just yesterday -- or was that last Saturday? What day is this anyway? My entire life seems to be falling between the chairs and the concert hasn't even started yet. Or did I miss it? It can be very hard to tell.
I'm still trying to remember what it was I said to Owen when we were making supper that I needed to order from Amazon. He doesn't remember except that it was something ordinary that we usually have -- and Garry was there. Neither of them remember. I suppose the next time I need whatever it is, that's when I will remember it. in the meantime, at least i remembered that I needed to buy more vitamins for the Duke and Excedrin.
On the good end of the day, I've got different medications that I'm hoping will be an improvement over what I was taking before and the pants that were my favorites last summer fell off me this morning. They aren't a little bit too big. They are huge. I guess I really did lose weight, although frankly, I look pretty much the same as far as I can tell. Well, my face looks thinner. The rest of me looks the same. Can I have lost 20 pounds from just my face?
QUESTIONSDU JOUR:
If you could be anywhere else right now, where would it be?
I have no idea. Usually, I would say some lovely beachy or mountain place with great views, I'm not sure that's true. I'm really comfortable at home. The bed is just right, the furniture is soft and I can put my feet up. The dog makes me laugh and we've got a lot of movies to watch.

Right now, it's going to be "Rustler's Rhapsody" because we need a fix of singing cowboys, good guys, bad guys, and heroes who can shoot the gun right out of your hand.
What wastes the most time In your day to day life?
Blogging. Whether or not one considers it a waste is a matter of considerable controversy.
How would you describe your greatest enemy? If you don't have one, share your secret!
I don't have any personal enemies, but I think of every anti-vaxxer and all of Trump's deplorables as enemies. Tonight, in Bloomberg's newsletter, I was reading about how China is beginning to clean up its act. Maybe you can only do that in a country where rulers -- elected or not -- actually care about their people. Almost half our country really doesn't believe we -- Garry and I -- belong here.
I try not to spend a lot of time thinking about that.
If you were a bird, what kind of bird would you be?
I would have to be a chickadee. They are the most cheerful, fearless birds. Friendly, great little flyers, and always singing, they are my favorite little friend.
