Howdy! Right now, the tomatoes in my garden are just starting to turn red. I've gotten a couple of cherry tomatoes so far, but my Early Girls (which are a little late, if you ask me) are just about to brighten up. With this on my mind, I thought it was the perfect time to talk about tomatoes As long as you don't have a sensitivity to tomatoes, most people on keto will consume them in moderation. 1 small tomato (about 2.5") is only 2.5 net carbs, so when it's summer, I love a ripe, sweet tomato from my garden drizzled with olive oil and tossed with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil.
