Your contribution will help support the following:
Access to accurate ingredient information

Food labelling issues and variations in allergen management practices within the food industry have limited safe food options and contributed to a lack of confidence in precautionary allergen labelling (“may contain” statements).

Your donation will help us make “may contain” meaningful and ensure every Canadian knows what’s in their food. Donate now.
Access to epinephrine and knowing when and how to treat anaphylaxis

Less than 50% of individuals with food allergy have an epinephrine auto-injector. Being prepared with epinephrine auto-injectors is paramount, yet there have been challenges with consistent access to these devices.

In addition, only 21% of children and 7% of adults globally use their auto-injector prior to going to the hospital. Using epinephrine at the first sign of anaphylaxis is crucial, however, there is still confusion on recognizing the signs and symptoms and knowing when to use epinephrine.

Your donation will help us increase access to this life-saving medication and broaden education on how to recognize and treat anaphylaxis. Donate now.
Access to evidence-based information and support at diagnosis and during critical life transitions

Almost 3 million Canadians are impacted by food allergy, including 500,000 children. Food allergy is a life-changing diagnosis.

With limited access to allergists and wait times ranging from months to years, individuals and families need ongoing support on how to live safely with food allergy right from the point of diagnosis.

Your donation will help us ensure no one is left behind. Donate now.
Educating the next generation

Food allergy is not consistently understood and students with food allergy experience social exclusion and stigma in schools. 1-in-3 children with food allergy report being bullied because of their food allergy.

Your donation will help us build informed and supportive communities by educating the next generation on food allergy. Donate now.
We need your help to achieve these goals so we can make a real impact. Donate $20 or more today to get your year-end tax receipt!
