This Valentine's Day – Morimoto Asia – the pan-Asian restaurant concept at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World in Orlando FL – is offering a specially crafted menu from Executive Chef Yuhi Fujinaga for guests in the Upstairs Private Dining Room.
The menu is "finger friendly" drawing from Asian traditions (take sushi as an example, it's meant to be eaten with your fingers) where not only taste, sight, and smell are important but also touch.
As Executive Chef, Hawaiian-born Chef Yuhi collaborates with Master Chef Masaharu Morimoto on menu seasonal changes, specials and the new omakase program, where customers permit the chef to make their sushi selections.
Morimoto Asia offers a unique dining experience featuring exhibition kitchens that provide behind-the-scenes views complete with traditional hanging Peking roast ducks.
The restaurant's massive, 2-story interior includes glittering 20-foot-long chandeliers, Shanghai-influenced lounges, private dining spaces and a second-level sushi bar and lounge.
For those who have never been to Morimoto Asia before, some highlights on the menu include: Sushi & Sashimi, Peking Duck, Morimoto Sticky Ribs and of course ramen (Chef Yuhi's team won the 2021 Ramen Rumble most recently)
For this special Valentine's Day menu – guests can call the restaurant directly and request to sit in one of those rooms and enjoy this specialty menu. Space is limited and they encourage early reservations. Call Morimoto Asia to reserve directly at: 407- 939-6686

The menu at Mia's was created to capture the essence of Mia's Partner, Dave Nicholas', great-grandmother's rustic Italian cooking. Originally from Naples, Italy, she used easy, simple, raw ingredients – an approach that Mia's embraces in their menu, which includes house-made (!!!) pasta, Italian sandwiches, charcuterie, and signature Sicilian style square pizzas (also available by the slice) cooked in their 800-degree brick oven.
Marshall Phanthachit and Joy Nguyen recently opened Soupa Saiyan 3 in East Orlando, the third Japanese anime-themed noodle soup restaurant for the family – taking over the space once occupied by Taco Bus at University Blvd and Rouse, just outside of UCF.
