Plant-Based on a Budget New Year



Hi friends,

Hope your 2022 is off to a great start! If, like me, you're wanting to get back to eating healthier after the holidays, here are some Plant-Based on a Budget resources that might be helpful:

  • If you're looking for a meal plan, look no further! The Plant-Based on a Budget Meal Plan will show you how to hack the supermarket so that you can get all the food you'll want for an entire week for a grocery bill of only $25 (that's just $1.20 per meal). Starting on January 5th, hundreds of people in our private Facebook group will cheer each other on as we all start using the same meal plan. Check it out!
  • If you like to create your own meal plans, Plant-Based on a Budget cookbook and The Friendly Vegan Cookbook are comprehensive guides that include tips, recipes, and a ton of information to get you started in the new year on the right foot. They've got all my love in them, too!
  • The Plant-Powered People Podcast has two episodes you might find particularly inspiring. Episode 23 with Eric O'Grey and episode 8 with Karen Brockway. They both share how they reached their health goals.
  • In our 14-minute mini-documentary, 7 Days, we shared the story of 24-year-old Raul who — in just 7 days — cut his cholesterol nearly in half, got out of the pre-diabetic zone, and dropped his weight by adopting a whole food, plant-based diet for a week. His story is wonderful and you can watch it here.
