PLANT-POWERED JANUARY!
If you've been here a while- you'll know that every January I like to do a plant-based "reset". Switching to the vegan diet for a period of time is an easy way to offset holiday eating and help recalibrate my cravings.
As much as possible I try to eliminate all processed foods, sugar, white flour, dairy and meat. I've come to really enjoy the month-long practice.
If you'd care to join me, here are a few resources to help inspire you. And of course, there's never any pressure here- I understand it is not for everyone... eat what makes you happy!

Good morning friends,
It comes around again- a new beginning, a blank chapter in the pages of life waiting to be filled. What will we choose to write I wonder? Could it be something so magnificent, so lovely, so beautiful, so joyful, so wondrous, that it stretches the boundaries of our heart and imagination further than we thought possible?
When we were young, our hearts were wide open, and imagining came so naturally. But for many, life gradually trained this out of us in favor of "logic", sensibility, efficiency, safety, and fear.
What do I want in this life? If I can't imagine it, it will never be.
Perhaps it starts with this. The practice of simply imagining, with an open heart.
Then try imagining it even bigger. Fuller, with more depth, bursting at the seams, vibrant with color and pulsing with life. Step inside it for a moment, and let yourself feel it. ✨
Bring that feeling with you into this New Year.
Then fill your pages...
With love and gratitude,
Sylvia
