10 Keto Meals Using Deli Meats

Most of us will have some deli meats on hand, either to have as a snack or just to incorporate into different recipes. If you ever open your fridge and scratch your head wondering what to make, here are some recipes you can use to whip up a tasty meal using something you likely have in there already.

USING DELI MEAT

KETO HOAGIE LUNCH BOWL

This easy lunch bowl combines all your favorite flavors from a Hoagie roll, but without any of the bread.  We chop up cold cuts like turkey, salami, and ham then toss it with plenty of cheese and veggies and sauce. You can chop the ingredients and mix the sauce beforehand for fast and easy lunches.
KETO PICKLE "SANDWICHES"

All the classics of a "regular" sandwich, just keto-friendly using the pickles on the outside as the bun. I used dill pickles for this dish so they are the perfect taste of sweet but salty and juicy yet crunchy. Whip these up in 10 minutes or less for lunch or a savory snack.

KETO SUB SANDWICH CASSEROLE

This restaurant copycat recipe takes inspiration from sub-style sandwiches to create a hot and cheesy casserole. I'm using ham and Swiss cheese, but you can use any combination of meat and cheese that you like to create your own special versions! Salami and mozzarella, or turkey and provolone would be great too!

HAM & CHEESE CHAFFLE SANDWICHES

For a quick, filling, and healthy meal, nothing beats a good sandwich. This recipe is a twist on the classic ham, cheese, and tomato sandwich by replacing the bread with chaffles to create a lower-carb, keto-friendly option. Feel free  to experiment and add in or take out elements based on your preferences.

HAM & CHEESE STROMBOLI

Stromboli is traditionally served rolled up like a roll cake, but in American cuisine, most pizza places will serve their stromboli folded up similarly to a calzone. You can think of this as a very large savory danish that you can slice up and easily serve to people as an appetizer that they can pick through.

KETO CLOUD BREAD ROLLUPS

 The base of this is made out of whipped eggs and cream cheese, which is baked for about 15 minutes. I then add the fixings inside and roll it up, mainly so the base doesn't break, but it also gives me a nice warm snack to enjoy over the cold ones my mom used to make.

PROSCUITTO MANCHEGO GRILLED SALAD

Warm salads are always a great way to spice up regular salads. The lettuce in this recipe is grilled to a perfect char on the grill. It is then chopped up into bite sized pieces and topped with an Italian favorite, prosciutto. Served with a light lemon-based dressing to cut through the salty and fatty toppings.

ALMOND CRUST KETO QUICHE

While a frittata will work just as well, I do miss that crusty crumbly pastry on the outside. This recipe uses bacon, but please feel free to customize with all deli meats you have on hand. Chop ham, salami, roast beef, and different cheeses to layer throughout the egg filling - make it your own!
