Healthy habits that will fix 80 of your problems

Struggling on your health journey?

 

I see you and I want to help you ❤️.

 

The thing is, usually WE are the reason that we are struggling.

 

Maybe we don't have the right mindset or maybe we are not setting up our environment for success.

 

I want to focus on the second part of that today and give you 3 simple habits that you can implement THIS WEEK to set yourself up for success.

 

As they say, change your environment, change your life!

 

Once you do these things CONSISTENTLY, I am willing to bet that a lot of your struggles will be resolved!  

 

1. Put the food that does not serve your goals somewhere that you can't see it and put what DOES serve your goals where you CAN!


I see soooo many women frustrated when the cookies call to them in the pantry whenever they walk in and they just can't resist.  You could SIMPLY put them out of eye level (or throw them in a cabinet) and this can make resisting so much easier.

 

As they say, out of sight out of mind. It's so SIMPLE but it works.

 

I would also recommend putting things to DO serve your goals (like fruit and veggies) where you DO see them. Maybe on the counter or at eye level in the fridge?

 

2. Plan ahead so you DON'T have to rely on willpower.

 

If you simply spent 1 hour a week roasting some veggies, cooking some protein and maybe prepping a carb like some rice, you could EASILY and QUICKLY throw together a fat-loss-friendly meal.

 

You wouldn't have to rely on willpower to resist the unhealthy, fast-food choices because you had something fast and healthy at the ready.  Meal prep does NOT have to be crazy time-consuming.

 

3. Write your workouts down on the calendar and treat them like an appointment that you make with yourself.

 

You're not always flaking out and canceling appointments right? (I hope not.) So, treat your workouts with the same respect.  

 

Write them down. Pencil them in.  Show up for your appointment with yourself.  Don't treat them as things you'll "get to if you have time" because I can promise that you'll never get to them!
