Happy Saturday, friends!
I've been hitting our local farmers' market every Saturday morning. The sweet corn is super tender---I love adding leftovers to my salads. And since our garden tomatoes are barely the size of a nickel, I often nab a few colorful varieties for BLTs and salads.
SEASONAL FAVORITES - Here are a few recipes using fresh summer produce!
Best Berry Recipes - Find all my favorite berry recipes in one spot, plus lots of tips on storing, selecting, etc.
Cherry Clafoutis - A country French dessert that's similar to an eggy custard! The recipe is from cookbook author, and friend, Dorie Greenspan.
Broccoli Frittata - I roasted frozen broccoli to make this tasty egg dish. Add any cooked veggies and cheese combos you like---it's easily adaptable.
ON THE BLOG THIS WEEK:
Peanut Butter Chocolate Caramel Bars - The name says it all!! These delicious peanut butter bars are chock full of peanut butter cups plus a layer of caramel sauce!
Fresh Corn Salsa - Made with fresh sweet corn cut off the cob, this salsa can also be eaten as a salad!
Raspberry Streusel Bars - These berry bars, with their buttery crumb topping, are delicious!
Happy Baking,
