Have you earned your right to lose weight?

You have to do this if you want to see success....

Hiya E!

I'm not going to sugar coat this 👇🏻

Just because you want to lose body fat, doesn't mean you should or maybe even can.

The truth is: you have to earn your right to diet and many women don't understand this.

You can't just keep beating your body up with low calories, no carbs, lots of cardio and expect it to keep working with you when you want to lose weight. That is not how God designed your body.

When you do that, you completely unbalance your hormones, slow down your metabolism, increase your stress hormones and make fat loss a NO GO.

An unhealthy body does not respond and you can't put more stress on your body than you already have by pushing it harder and harder, and expect to see results.

This is why I tell some women that join my Fit and Faithful program that, right now, fat loss is off the table for them.

In fact, any *GOOD* coach won't do this (unfortunately, too many don't understand the complexities of the body and will push you harder and mess you up further.)

If you're coming to me with a super colorful, long-term dieting history, we're gonna put fat loss on the back burner for a little bit and work on SLOWLY bringing your calories UP to maintenance, decreasing all the cardio and ultimately getting your hormones and metabolism in the right spot.

This time spent HEALING is going to make your fat loss progress SO much better when you HAVE earned your right to diet. You'll lose fat eating MORE, feel better and look better.

A healthy body responds.

Trust me, I know this first hand.

After having an eating disorder and having to gain a bunch of weight to heal my body (not saying you will have to do this) I had to spend YEARS at a weight that I was uncomfortable with to allow my body to heal and become healthy.

Even though I desperately wanted to lose some of the fat I had gained VERY quickly, I had to put fat loss on the back burner for a time period.

And, it was the most worthwhile thing I've done.

Since then, I've been able to pursue fat loss in a healthy and balanced way (while eating A LOT of food) and now finally have a body that I am proud of and a body that is healthy and functions well.

I earned it. And, you may have to as well, EVEN if you've never had an eating disorder. Even if you've just been trying to lose weight forever and you're not actually underweight (or maybe even over weight!) you have to earn it.

And, focusing on health first is you pursuing your body composition goals in a way that honors God.  He doesn't want you running His temple into the ground.

Did you know that you have to earn your right to diet? What do you think of this?

Hit "REPLY" and let me know!
