Chinese Pumpkin Cake + Wonton Char Siu Noodle

Omnivore's Cookbook

Hi there,

I hope you're having a nice week.

This week I have two new recipes that are perfect for the cool fall weather.

Chinese Pumpkin Cake (南瓜饼) - A popular dim sum classic, these mochi cakes are made with a gooey dough mixed with pumpkin and filled with sweet red bean paste. They're quite fun and easy to prepare.

Wonton Char Siu Noodle Soup (叉烧云吞面) - It's one of my favorite one-bowl meals using leftover char siu pork and wontons. I also include many tips in the post on how to replace those ingredients to make your own noodle soup.

I hope you enjoy the recipe this week and happy cooking!
