Love it or hate it?

Are you pining for summer or making the most of autumn?

Autumn seems to be a bit of a marmite season for some - you either love it or you hate it! How do you feel about it? I'm in the former camp, and I'm evangelical about converting those of you in the latter.

While nature is winding down, this time of year has a magical side to it that lends itself to reinvention. It's an excellent time to decide what you want to accomplish during the rest of the year, make your home cosy and comfortable for autumn, practice a little self care, and look forward to the Christmas and holiday celebrations to come.

3 Things To Do in the Last Days of September

1. This is a great time of year to breathe a little new life into your home. In Freshen Up Your Home For Fall, I'm sharing some ideas and tips to help. I also have some frugal Natural Cleaning Tips that I use in my own home. Not only are they better for the environment, they really work!

2. If you are an entrepreneur, author, or run a small business, this is the perfect time to take a look at your website. Is it really working to represent you to potential customers? If it isn't, but  your budget won't stretch to bespoke design, I have solution!

My friend and professional website designer Pauline Wiles has just released her collection of premium Squarespace templates, giving you a beautiful website for an incredibly affordable investment. The first 8 people to buy will receive a bonus package of expert support worth over $350 - including 40% off blogging for your business coaching from yours truly. 3. Enjoy some comfort food on cooler days. My Beef and Ale Stew will warm the cockles of your heart and may save money as you can use stewing beef or chuck steak. If you are vegetarian, try my Old Fashioned Vegetable and Barley Stew instead. It's warming, delicious and frugal too. Getting out of bed will be easy if you have Pumpkin Gingerbread Muffins to look forward to for breakfast. Need a healthier option? Try my Traditional Bran Muffins! And for a warming, decadent dessert treat, don't miss my Chocolate and Blueberry Pudding Cake.

Right now I am...
