| we I need your help to reach a personal goal. As you know, as Registered Dietitians we are passionate about nutrition and ensuring that all clients and patients receive high-quality care.
Did you know that less than 14% of nutrition and dietetics professionals identify as people of color? (This is WILD.) Meanwhile, the clients and patients that we serve are becoming more and more diverse.
We need more nutrition and dietetics professionals of color so that the communities that we serve can be sure to receive the highest quality, most culturally appropriate care possible.
That is why I'm a monthly donor to Diversify Dietetics, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a mission to increase the racial and ethnic diversity of the nutrition profession. The team at Diversify Dietetics is working hard to create effective resources to recruit and retain nutrition and dietetics students of color.
