We realized it was not actually the tracking itself that was causing her to binge. It was how she THINKS about tracking because she had never done it with a qualified coach who focused on the fact that there is freedom in the guidelines of tracking.
Now, as a CHRISTIAN fat loss coach, it's also my superpower to help you see your problems in a Biblical way.
Let's take the Bible, for example.
If you read it in the wrong context, it can feel very CRUSHING and like these crazy set of rules, we can never live up to.
If you read it in the right way, it brings freedom because you have guidelines on how to live your life in the best way possible so that you thrive.
And, when you read it in that way, you actually WANT to follow the guidelines, as opposed to feel like they are crushing, because you know that will allow you to experience God's best life for you!
This is how you need to view tracking your food. It's not rules. But, when you follow them (with wiggle room for grace) you actually like having them because you know it's allowing you to reach your goals and you're fueling your body to THRIVE.
It actually makes it less stressful to eat because you're not always wondering HOW much to eat.
Isn't that where you get tripped up anyway? You know how to eat healthy but you stress about the HOW MUCH?
