From Nicole at GFOAS. Great gluten free recipes that really work.
Hey e,
Happy day-before-college-decisions-day in the U.S., to all who celebrate. My youngest child has decided on her college, and, without any influence from me at all, she has picked the same college as my son. And I'm playing it cool.
I've had at least my share of parenting fails, if not more, but I consider this a home run 100% win. They are both truly thrilled about it, as they've gotten quite close in the last year or so.
I will weep like a baby when we drop them off this fall, but they will have each other. I anticipate this being the most bittersweet moment of my entire life to date!
I'll have an empty nest, and the blog will, of course, go on (and on and on). But I won't have anyone to bake for, really, and it's so sad. I'll have to find new real-life motivation to make things like this:

Then, let's talk about the secrets to making gluten free yeast bread, including how to get it to rise, what sorts of ingredients you need for success, and all the FAQs you can imagine!
Whether you're new to yeast bread or not, the only way to success is to learn first, bake second. I've done the messing up and failures, so there's no reason for you to reinvent the wheel.

This bread tastes richly of both chocolate and bananas, with neither taste overpowering the other. The crumb is moist and tender, and just sweet enough.
If you love chocolate and bananas, don't just throw some chocolate chips in 'regular' banana bread. Go all the way with this recipe. Go big or go home!

There are so many yeast bread recipes on the blog, but there's really no perfect starter recipe. Almost any of them can be starter recipes, if you just start here first, with this GF bread secrets primer.
I get comments and emails from time to time telling me that you followed a recipe "to a T" and it didn't turn out. I'm not perfect, and I do make mistakes—but all the recipes on the blog are the result of many (many) mistakes that I've corrected before sharing them!
I've shared much of what I know about how to make beautiful loaves, rolls, and shaped gf yeast breads happen. If you'll indulge me in a bit of learning, you'll be richly rewarded
