FAAM: Increasing access to epinephrine through advocacy
Food Allergy Canada is a nationally registered charity committed to educating, supporting, and advocating for the over 3 million Canadians impacted by food allergy.
Today is the last day of Food Allergy Awareness Month, and we want to celebrate #FoodAllergyChampions.
As this month has focused on anaphylaxis education and awareness, we want to highlight a few individuals and organizations who have helped increase the availability of epinephrine through stock epinephrine programs.
Stock epinephrine refers to epinephrine auto-injectors that are not prescribed to a particular person and can be used in an emergency.
There are many champions across the country, in this email, we are highlighting just a few of them. Please share with us any #FoodAllergyChampions in your community who have started a stock epinephrine program. Check out our inspiring stories below to learn more!
