Hi nm!
Last week I was lucky enough to spend the week in Washington DC at a small business summit, which included visiting capital hill to talk with senators and members of the house about policies that affect small businesses.
This was all very cool, but the part that's still blowing my mind is that the house and senate office buildings are completely free and open to the public. So, if you too are an American history lover, keep this little tidbit in mind the next time you're in town to impress your friends and family!
(Just be sure you don't find yourself lost in the underground tunnels connecting all the buildings like I did. Where was Nicholas Cage when I needed him?! πΊπΈ)
Anyway! While Iowa is still trying to figure out this whole spring thing, Washington DC was in full bloom. Lush trees, fragrant flowers, and warm sunshine to boot. It made me excited for the upcoming summer months, and so today I want to share with you 15+ recipes to cook in May.
While we've got one foot in spring and the other in summer, these recipes will help bridge the gap from one season to the other!
