This is for my grand nieces - they like sugar. It looks like spaghetti but tastes like pancakes. Then we add some mashed fruit to mimic the tomato sauce and some sausage to mimic the meatballs. I didn't but you can add some grated white chocolate to mimic the cheese. This will be a hit with 5-7 to year olds everywhere. I hope you like it.
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Sauce:
8 large strawberries
1/4 cup raspberries
2 tablespoons sugar
4 link sausages, cooked
Cut berries, place in a bowl, mash and add sugar.
In a bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add milk, egg, and vanilla and mix.
Add melted butter.
Pour batter into squeeze bottle.
Spray griddle with cooking spray (I used high heat cooking spray).
On a griddle pour batter into thin lines to mimic spaghetti. Flip when bubbles appear.
When golden brown, remove to plate.
When you have enough to serve add fruit sauce.
Heat sausage and cut into small pieces.
Assembly:
Pancake spaghetti
Fruit sauce
Sausage pieces
White chocolate (optional)
