Two aspirants aspiring for the position of Ikorodu Local Government Chairmanship has on Wednesday merge together for successful outing at coming primary election scheduled for May 29.

The aspirants Folashade Olabanji Oba and Jimoh Azeez, disclosed this during a press briefing in Ikorodu Lagos. Where they give accolade to the All Progressive Congress for consistency in strengthening the party.

Speaking at the brief, Folashade Oba said she would work in synergy with other aspirant to form a stronger team and make Ikorodu greater as well as to defeat the incumbent in the coming APC primary election.

"Our focus is all about building Ikorodu", Hon. Folashade Olabanji-Oba said this during the press conference held earlier today in Ikorodu.

"What we are doing here today speaks volume about the believe and trust we have for our great party.

"What we are doing here today is to let every body know that Ikorodu project is here and here to stay.

During the press conference Hon. Olabanji-Oba mentioned that the merging is the beginning of a new era in Ikorodu politics. That this will project Ikorodu to the world and not just to country Nigeria.

Hon. Jimoh Azeez also agree to support by being the vice chairman while Folashade Olabanji Oba be the Chairman. He also outline some of his agenda for infrastructure, education, youth development among other.

Recapitulating his agenda and that of Hon. Folashade Oba, he mentioned that this will boom the economy of Ikorodu and it's environs.

The brief was concluded with an embrace to demonstrate unity.
