Observing and examining the just concluded APC LGA primaries, Hon. Oluwatosin Onamade said these in a press briefing.

On Saturday, the 29th of May, 2021, members of our great party, the APC in Ijede LCDA displayed their indefatigable commitment to the democratic principles of our great Party. Despite all intimidations, manipulations and political 'miscalculations', you all stood firmly monitoring and recording the numerous shams perpetrated by well known people for reasons best known to them.

As we all know that the major ingredients of politics has to do with its leaders, followers, members and sympathisers. This goes a long way to determine how successful the party will be not only during elections but in terms of delivery of good governance, good precedence and indeed winning the hearts of the populace.

The political shenanigans that took place in Ijede LCDA on Saturday remains a mystery that the whole world is keenly watching and monitoring to see if indeed, our party, the APC will stick to the rules of law. It is a pure political miscalculation not well perfected by the major players involved. Changing the rules overnight without adequate and proper check of the moral, legal and political implications is very crude and quite unheard off. Thanks to all Stakeholders and numerous Volunteers that have promised to take this up and challenge the anomaly fiercely.

As I want to believe that we have credible and matured leaders in our party, I want to appeal to all members of our party, the APC that in the face of the numerous intimidations by well known people, please, for God sake, kindly remain calm. The mandate to make Ijede LCDA a very free LCDA for me, for you and for everybody starts now. We will push all these to a logical conclusion for the whole world to see the true pictures of events unfolding in Ijede LCDA.

Finally, I want to commend the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Tinubu, The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Hon. Babajimi Benson, key Divisional Leaders in Ikorodu; Baba Bashorun, Baba Ogunleye, Alhaji Badru Enifeni, Alhaji Animashaun Lawal - DCUBANO, Ashipa Kaoli Olusanya and all others too numerous to mention. I won't forget to appreciate the Apex Leaders in Ijede as well; Hon. Emmanuel Aguda, Leader Adewale Ajala, Hon. Hassan Adefarasin, Hon. Razak Ajetunmobi, Leader Olorunishola Amusa, Alhaji Kayode Fahm, Pastor Samson Adesegun, Alhaji Jamiu Adisa - Golden jay and other too for your commitments always to all about our party, the APC.

I remain committed to all that will make our party to wax stronger.
