Save your seat HERE. Ok. Back to my story... Today I have built a body I love while building a life that I love and makes me feel healthy and whole; physically, mentally and spiritually. But that hasn't always been the case. Before, I definitely didn't have it all figured out. In fact, I had similar problems that you might be having: I wanted to lose weight and be fit and toned... I needed a sustainable and healthy way to lose weight and keep it off... And I wished there was a way that I could lose weight without sacrificing my mental, emotional and spiritual health at the expense of my weight loss goals... But I had nothing but super restrictive diets that cost me my mental and physical health to turn to. And I felt overwhelmed just thinking about how I could get the results I wanted without becoming a slave to my diet and continuing to enjoying the life God designed for me. The turning point came when I took my desire to lose weight to the extreme and developed anorexia. I had sought the help of a personal trainer who could take my fitness to the next level. He taught me how to get into control and count calories in an obsessive way. He taught me the "right" way to exercise and how to get really, REALLY lean. But, what I didn't know was that he was teaching me how to not have any kind of full, joyful life. He cut my calories so low so that I was hungry and miserable all the time. I spent hours in the gym doing lots of cardio that left me exhausted. My sleep was terrible. I constantly was hangry, cranky and had no energy which definitely took a tool on my marriage. I knew there had to be a better way to meet my physique goals without sacrificing my mental, physical or spiritual health. Through the process of getting lean and being completely miserable, I realized that this was not what I wanted for my life, my marriage and my relationship with God. I had enough and could not go on like that anymore. and so I decided to try something different. I decided to focus on my WHOLE health - my body, my mind and my soul - and see what would happen Through this process I discovered a new way to have a healthy, fit body without missing out on life. Before, I've kept this to myself or only shared it with clients... until now: If you've been following me on social media recently, you know I've been busy working on something for all of you.
