Happy New Year, friends!
Instead of my usual newsletter, I'm going to share the Top 10 Recipes of 2021. Many of them are in the top 10 year after year, but they're some of my best ever recipes thanks to you all, my loyal readers.
I hope you were able to enjoy the holidays with your loved ones. I zoomed with my sisters who live in Madison, Seattle and Denver. We had a birthday thown in the mix so lots of chocolate indulgences this past week, including Chocolate Lava Cakes, Mocha Brownie Cake, and an Easy Kahlua Bundt Cake (the latter was for another Graeter's segment on WISH-TV). Wishing you all a happy, healthy 2022!
Most Popular Recipes of 2021
#10- Ambrosia Salad without Cool Whip - A delicious dessert-like salad that's great for celebrations. Many versions contain Cool Whip, but I use real whipped cream.
#9 - Pumpkin Roll - Have you ever made a cake roll? They're not as difficult as you'd think. This one is a delicious autumn dessert, but yummy any time of year.
#8 - Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle - I made this for dinner club one year---and it was a hit! After a bit of a hiatus, we hope to get together this winter.
#7 - Cowboy Cookies - One of my favorite cookies, these are chock full of oatmeal, chocolate chips, coconut and pecans. This recipe makes a huge batch of large cookies, but they freeze well!
#6 - Ganache Topped Cheesecake - This decadent cheesecake has a thick layer of chocolate ganache to push it over the top. Just a sliver will fill you up, so it feeds a crowd!
#5 - Raspberry Crisp - A simple berry dessert with a crumble topping! Served warm with vanilla ice cream makes for a delicious, homey indulgence.
#4 - Spinach Souffle - My mom's recipe without the Velveeta of the 70s! My picky daughter adores this recipe (practically the only vegetable she'll eat!).
#3 - Spinach Feta Pinwheels - An elegant appetizer made easy with storebought puff pastry!
#2 - Cranberry Fluff Salad - A Thanksgiving classic, but my readers love making it for Christmas, too!
#1 - Simple Meringue Cookies - This recipe has been the most popular on my website for years. If you need tips for making perfect meringues, this post will guide you!
Happy Baking,
