I love the phrase - your body is a temple.
It reminds me that we are whole. That we are children of God or of some other higher power or name.
But...
Most of us have only really heard and thought of this phrase in relation to two things:
- dieting culture where your body is a temple is used to promote six-pack abs and thinness and restrictive eating
- in spiritual settings where in reality the body itself is ignored as simply weak flesh and other more important things are focused on.
So I want to take a stand for your body really being a temple.
And I want to show you PRACTICALLY what that means and how you can integrate this into your existing beliefs or religious practices.
