My tip is that there is no magical tip or hack or secret to making morning workouts. You just have to do it. There are definitely the usual tips, but I do have one other tip that maybe isn't a tip, but it's a little insight on how to keep motivated for anything in general, which I learned from James Clear in his book Atomic Habits.
You need to inherently want to BECOME a morning person. Simply saying, "i'm going to workout in the mornings because it's the most convenient time of day for me to workout and stay consistent" (which seems like a reasonable, solid goal) isn't enough. Why isn't it enough? Because you need to address the underlying YOU. Why don't you wake up in the morning? Because you're not a morning person.
So... how do I change that? I BECOME a morning person. So how do you become a morning person?
The night before, envision what your day will look like if you wake up with that alarm. Literally, visualize it. It'll be more relaxed, more focused, more purposeful.
Go to bed earlier so you are well rested enough to wake up at an early hour. (This is the hardest part for me, always! But after a couple of days of waking up early, your body will naturally get tired earlier in the evening.)
Make morning times attractive - set the coffee machine the night before so you have a fresh pot waiting for you, let yourself do something you normally don't have time for in the busy day (maybe it's writing, meditation, reading a chapter of your favorite book, a skincare routine, write your daily to-do list, whatever.)
Once you've conquered that, working out in the mornings will be much more easy. And you may even wake up earlier and earlier so you can start your day with some of those other habits. For example, I wake up at 5:45am to workout by 6am. Sometimes, I'll set the alarm for 5:30am so I can tackle my to-do list for the day so that by the time I'm ready to workout, I have my vision for the day, and I can focus better. Also, the act of building the to-do list wakes my mind up, as I sip on my coffee.
Your brain is powerful. Think of all the benefits of your day when you've already done your workout before the day has begun. Just really think about it, think about it during the day, think about it when you're laying in bed, and you will manifest into becoming a morning person.
Or at least that's how it has worked for me! Hope you find this helpful.
