July Baking Bucket List

Hi there reader -

I hope you all enjoyed a nice 4th of July! It was kinda nice to have it on a Tuesday, we enjoyed a long weekend and then a short work week. The sun doesn't set until after 9-9:30 here, so my toddler was up pretty late listening and watching the fireworks out of the windows all around the house. He said he's not scared of them anymore but they're too loud, haha.

We are still laying low over here for the rest of the summer, and planned a small vacation for the fall when it seems like it might be easier to to travel with a baby. We didn't travel with our first until he was 18 month old, so this will be an adventure for sure.

Right now I am working on updating some zucchini recipes and a new chocolate zucchini cake. It is FIRE but needs a little more work before it's going to be blog ready.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the month!

Still Going Viral

So many of you made this over the last week and it's still going viral on Pinterest and Facebook! Have you tried it? It's the perfect summer no-bake dessert.

Monthly Baking Tip

This is my favorite way to make whipped cream. It's thick, and pipeable and pairs so great with a big bowl of fresh berries. Now it's still whipped cream, so it won't stand up in the heat and humidity but if you are looking to try something different, give this Mascarpone Whipped Cream a try.
